The inspiration for this shoot was to capture the aesthetic of my hometown, Oceanside, CA. Locals sport a style that blends surf, grunge, and Western influences. Many rock vintage pieces from one of the various local second-hand clothing stores.

For the location, I decided to shoot at a South O staple since the 1920s, the Cassidy Street Bridge. This provided a great opportunity to play with the lighting through the hatchwork pattern of the bridge’s railings. After this, we worked with the golden hour at Cassidy Street Beach.
