Alex

I met Alex when I was staying at a hostel in Sayulita, Mexico. Back home in Quebec, she works as a tattoo artist and model, between her travels.

Originally, I was not looking to do any shoots while I was down in Sayulita. Instead, I was looking for a break from work and to relax on the beaches with friends. That being said after a great talk with my friend, and fellow photographer, Radka I decided to set up an impromptu photoshoot. Alex was an easy choice for me due to her laid-back style, experience modeling, and her tattoos, which added an extra aesthetic layer.

The inspiration for this shoot was to capture the vibe of the sleepy Mexican surf town. A collection of photos that would not be out of place in a small San Diego surf shop.
